The Conservatory of Flowers offers third, fourth and fifth grade classes a guided exploration- Adaptation: Plant Survivors!

This experience introduces kids to the amazing survival techniques plants have developed. From the lowland jungle, to the tropical mountains, to the Amazon River Basin, we'll explore the unique characteristics that enable plants to thrive in these environments.

Schedule: As of October 11, 2007, all Jungle Tours are sold out for the school year. To be placed on the wait list, please email us with subject line "Waitlist". Include your name, school name, and your daytime phone number. In the event we have cancellations, we will contact the wait list in the order they have been received.

Program time: 10:00 am - 11:15 am

Cost: The Program is FREE to San Francisco public and private schools.

Chaperones: To make your visit to the Conservatory safer and more enjoyable, at least one adult chaperone for every seven students is required.

Tours are on a space-available basis and advanced reservations are required.
